Description
Music : Rock : WMA
Note that this was not my rip. This was
reputed to be transcribed from the original
RCA records reel to reel tape often released
by the RCA record club c.July 1973.
The original transcription was done 24/96
to PCM then converted to DSD then compressed
to DST64 then made into an SACD iso and released
in that format.
This particular variant was then converted back to
PCM @24/44.1. I also ripped it at 24/88.2 and checked
the wave plot and there was no data above 22Khz with
the exception of digital noise created in the
original conversion.
If all this puts you off, then by all means give it
a pass. The original is still available if you
know how to search. This issue is for the users
who don't have the inclination to do any of the
above.
The master used for this issue is not the same
master as used for the first vinyl issue. It is
the same master used by the RCA CD's released in
1985.
