Description

 							This is the collection of Episodes 1 through 6 of GOLAN THE INSATIABLE.
  
  The series depicts
a demigod warlord from the dimension of Gkruool named Golan the Insatiable who is banished to Earth by Gkruool's rebels
and ends up at the home of the Beekler Family in the town of Oak Grove, Minnesota. He ends up befriending the family's
goth-like daughter Dylan Beekler who becomes his follower as he learns about Earth customs, causes havoc in Oak Grove,
and plots to return to Gkruool.
  
  Humrous and dark at times, the series is not what it could be. There is
no real development of the characters, and each episode is merely a more detailed telling of the exact situation summed
up perfectly by the opening credit scene (which lasts about 10 seconds): Golan is ousted from his Hell realm and lands
on the couch, settling into suburban life while being worshiped by a Goth kid. That's about it.
  
  For a
series like this to survive, it would need to go beyond retelling the premise every week, and start to explore its world
and characters. The only interesting subplot is the apparently covert sexual desire Dylan's mom has for Golan. But
unlike Adventure Time, with its richly developed world, there's not much else here in GOLAN THE INSATIABLE. It's a
one-note joke, repeated every episode.
  
  Still, it's funny in parts and has potential. Treat this as a
six-episode pilot.
