This title was released previously
on the vacation 
home @24-48.  This is the first time I have done 
this title in hi-res.

Personal Restore rating:

7.0/10 due to variance in output quality


Notes:

This was a better than average pressing for the Harvest 
label and was pressed on a hard vinyl
compound with a 
glossy surface. Scattered calcium problems were moderately 
audible on A5 and B5 and there
was some uneven cooling 
evident on track B2.  The mastering was likely done by 
Capitol instead of the usual
practice of shipping the 
stampers from EMI in the UK.

This was the eighth play of this unit with a NM-
surface 
condition. 

There is audible tape hiss throughout the entire 
recording.  In places, the
hiss is almost as bad as my 
previous release here which was done on an 8 Track machine 
in 1971 . 

There was a lot of variance in the output quality with A5 and 
B5 rated as 6 or less and louder tracks such as A1
and A4 
rated as 8 or better on the personal restore scale.  The 
rating stated above is more of an average
than a definitive 
number.

The cover scans were from the restored unit. Due to 
limitations with
the scanner, the images had to be joined 
and reassembled with stitching software. The bifold should 
print
correctly @360dpi to fit a CD jewel case.
