film beschrijving:
Nightcrawler is een grimmig portret van de duistere kant van L.A en vertelt het verhaal
van de curieuze en ambitieuze kruimeldief Lou Bloom (Jake Gyllenhaal) die door de
economische crisis moeilijk aan nieuw werk kan komen. Hij voelt zich aangetrokken
tot de onderwereld van Los Angeles en als hij op een nacht verloren door de stad loopt
stuit hij bij toeval op een paar aasgieren (‘nightcrawlers’) in actie. Hij schaft een goedkope
videocamera en een politieradioscanner aan en gaat op jacht.
