About Sky Dragon



Under this name the author shares her writings which spontaneously arose over a period of years.



She was born in Australia of Russian parents. Her religious training & interests developed from a rigid
fundamentalism (Jehovah's witness) to despair and depression which lead to a suicide attempt and then the grace of a
spiritual rebirth (or a return to her original home) as a Buddhist. 



Today the author describes herself as a "wandering yogi", not knowing who she is, nor where she belongs. 



She has found inspiration for her spiritual journey in many places: books, poems, lectures, retreats, red rock deserts,
music and chants from many lands, friends and lovers, dreams and visions. Her journey continues.

Falling Leaves



My pen chases the thoughts like the wind in the clouds.

They go together as intimately as my skin over the bones.

The pen tries to clothe with words my joyous delight,

My madness if you like, the ecstasy of being.

When the warm winds of summer

Blow gently on my face,

I raise my head in joy

And tune my ear to listen

To the whispering winds of the world,

Bearing exotic scents and wonderful tales of old.

In the night, in the dark,

In the lone cool hours of sleep.

Be the watcher who sees

The wondrous blanket of stars

Stretching across endless horizons;

Drink deep of the moonlight which frees.
