Dutch
Dave Skylark (James Franco) is een succesvolle talkshowhost met zijn eigen
late talkshow 'Skylark Tonight'. Echter, het brein achter dit succes van
Dave is de producer en tevens zijn beste vriend Aaron (Seth Rogen). Aaron,
die altijd op zoek is naar een nieuwe uitdaging, weet voor Dave een
interview te strikken met de mysterieuze en meedogenloze dictator van
nucleair bewapend Noord-Korea: Kim Jong-Un. Wanneer de twee zich
voorbereiden op het vertrek naar Noord-Korea, worden ze benaderd door de
CIA met een plan om de dictator te vermoorden. Dave en Aaron accepteren de
opdracht van de CIA, maar blijken nou niet bepaald moordmachines te zijn
die de gevaarlijkste man op aarde kunnen ombrengen.

In the action-comedy The Interview, Dave Skylark (James Franco) and his
producer Aaron Rapoport (Seth Rogen) run the popular celebrity tabloid TV
show "Skylark Tonight." When they discover that North Korean dictator Kim
Jong-un is a fan of the show, they land an interview with him in an
attempt to legitimize themselves as journalists. As Dave and Aaron prepare
to travel to Pyongyang, their plans change when the CIA recruits them,
perhaps the two least-qualified men imaginable, to assassinate
Kim Jong-un.
